Mandarin Minister 國語堂傳道 - Mr. Philip Tang, M.Div. 陳子強傳道
Philip Tang joined FEC Arcadia family in 2010 as mandarin congregation intern. He graduated from Logos Evangelical Seminary and joined full-time pastoral staff 2012. His calling is taking care of the sheep and making disciples for the Lord.
Philip enjoys sports, gym, reading, having good foods with friends. He loves going to beach very much, with blue sky, waves and warm sunshine. Indeed he enjoys the creations of God and feels relaxed when he swims in the ocean!
Cantonese Minister 粵語堂傳道 - Mr. Eric Lam, M.Div. 林天順傳道
Eric Lam was born in Hong Kong and came to the United States in 1991. After graduating from UCLA for his master degree in Computer Science, he worked as a software engineer in telecommunications industry for seventeen years. Later, he received God’s calling to leave his professional career and study full-time in Bethel Seminary in 2013. Since receiving his Master of Divinity degree in 2016, he has served as an assistant pastor in Chinese Bible Church of San Diego and now serves in First Evangelical Church of Arcadia as the Cantonese minister. He is married to his wife Koral with two children.
林天順傳道出生於香港，1991年和家人移民來美，在洛杉磯加州大學取得電腦科碩士學 位後，他擔任軟件工程師共十七年之久。其後，他因接受了神的呼召而離開他的專業 ，2013年進入伯特利神學院，於2016年獲取道學碩士學位。他曾在聖地牙哥主恩堂作助理牧師，現今在亞凱迪亞羅省基督教會為粵語堂傳道。他和太太麗珊育有一女一兒。
English Pastor 英語堂牧師 - Rev. Mongens Yu, Ph.D. 楊偉文牧師
Mongens has been a long-time member of FEC Glendale and began his ministry there in 2000. He was part of the Arcadia church plant since its inception in 2001. He was ordained in March, 2008. Prior to vocational Christian ministry, he was in the insurance business with his wife Abigail while going to Fuller Theological Seminary, where he completed his M.A. in Marriage and Family therapy, Master of Divinity, and Ph. D. in Family Studies. He likes reading and traveling.
Youth and Young Adult Pastor 青少年及職青牧師 - Rev. Nick Melazzo, M.Div.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Colorado Mesa University, a Master of Divinity from the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary, and was ordained by Heart of Junction Church (SBC) in Grand Junction, CO. Nick and his wife, Cerena have a long history of involvement in collegiate ministry and church planting, both in Colorado, USA and Alberta, Canada. They and their three children moved to Los Angeles early in 2012 to join First Evangelical Church Arcadia as the Next Generation Pastor. Nick is a bibliophile and sipper of fine teas. He enjoys regular workouts at the gym, watches entirely too many films, plays the occasional video game, is a closet news junkie, and often makes forays to the park with his family. Fascinated by design, craft, and culture, he's always looking for ways to engage the San Gabriel Valley generatively and creatively as a follower of Jesus.
Children's Director 兒童事工主任 - Rev. Kenneth Longson
Pastor Kenn grew up in Los Banos, CA. Upon graduating from high school he attended Point Loma Nazarene University, majoring in Philosophy and Theology. It was at Point Loma where he met and married Erin. Upon graduation they moved to Monrovia, CA. Kenn has served as Children’s Pastor for Newhall church of the Nazarene and volunteered help at Paz Naz. He has also been a Rotation Pastor art several churches. He was ordained in 2005. Kenn and Erin have two wonderful children, Rett and Wenn. It is a blessing and and privilege to serve as the Children’s Pastor here at FEC Arcadia.
Grace Covenant Disciples Church 恩上之家 - Mr. Kevin Hu, M.A. 胡希强傳道
Kevin Hu, after graduating from USC with Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, spent 18 years as an engineer in defense, semiconductor and consumer electronics industries. He joined FEC-Arcadia church in 2007 and had since served in the Cantonese young adult ministry. Responding to God’s calling in 2013, Kevin started his theological studies and at the same time served at Upward Bound Study Center as a volunteer teacher. He joined the pastoral staff team in 2015 as Church Planter and completed his M.A. in Biblical Studies from Covenant Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2018. He is now a full-time minister at the new church plant GCDC in Monterey Park serving new immigrants in the community. He is married to May Li.
